Today, the first day of the 2011 Christmas Tree Sale has been the busiest sale day ever! From 9am this morning, undeterred by the chilly weather, locals and passers-by were queuing outside the gate to find their perfect tree for this festive season.
For some it was like love at first sight, for others, it took a lot of browsing to make sure they found the right tree before returning home to the inevitable chaos or baubles and tinsel. With assistance of the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers doing their good turn, there was certainly plenty of Christmas cheer here at 4th Ewell.
